ABOUT WELLITY

Wellness is our specialty.

At the heart of true wellness lies balance—physical, mental, and emotional harmony. "Wellity" embodies a holistic approach to health, where every aspect of your life supports and nurtures the rest, creating a foundation for overall well-being.

We are a comprehensive health care clinic serving women in Lincoln, Nebraska and surrounding areas with personalized wellness plans, skin health services, preventative care, and breast cancer support. We provide individualized, life-affirming care, from prevention to survivorship, with the intention of helping you feel strong, empowered, and confident as you navigate your wellness journey.

We are passionate about providing access to preventative health screenings and taking a holistic and collaborative approach to wellness. Our focus goes beyond identifying risk factors—we address the physical, mental, and emotional aspects of your health, and are here to advocate for you, empower you, and support you every step of the way.

We are a woman-owned and operated clinic founded by Mary Jane Glade, DNP, who has been serving women as a nurse for over 20 years. With a background in gynecology and cancer care clinics in both urban and rural settings, Mary Jane has extensive experience, expertise, and training in women’s health and high-risk care. She went to school at Creighton University and earned a Doctorate in Nursing Practice in 2019, previously obtaining her Master's Degree and Family Nurse Practitioner Certification in 2007 from Creighton. She is certified in Cancer Genetic Risk Assessment (CGRA) and has undergone intensive training in genetic and risk assessment. Mary Jane is deeply passionate about improving the lives of women and is wholeheartedly committed to promoting and preserving women’s wellness. She is on a mission to help her patients find answers to their health concerns through respectful, compassionate care.

Q&A: Get to know Mary Jane

What is your why?
Nothing lights me up like helping my patients understand their risk of cancer or a certain disease and empowering them to live the best life they can live through prevention. Working with individuals to find their way to a healthier life and reach their wellness goals warms my heart and fuels my passion.

How would others describe you as a practitioner?
People often describe me as an advocate and an actionist. I truly care for patients and take the time to not only listen to them but hear them. I am dedicated to helping my patients feel empowered to take their health into their own hands and live their best life. It’s important to me that my patients know they have an expert in their corner who is compassionate and makes an effort to get to know them, and who gives them the tools they need to thrive.

Why the name Wellity?
The name for the business stems from wanting to provide a sense of security for someone who is seeking help or wants to maintain a state of well-being. One of my breast cancer survivors suggested the name and it gave me an immediate sense of hope and excitement. We can achieve the wellness that we all deserve because, after all, wellness is our specialty.

Meet The Team

  • I’m an occupational therapist (OT) specializing in all things women’s health. I became passionate about this during clinical rotations at a women’s health center, where I was introduced to pelvic floor, breast cancer, and lymphedema rehabilitation. Certified in lymphatic therapy and trained in pelvic floor education, I focus on core rehab and manual therapies to alleviate symptoms and enhance movement. As a Prenatal and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist, I aim to teach you how daily activities and movement patterns impact your health, maximizing your recovery and quality of life.

If you’d like to work with Bethany, please call to schedule an appointment.

  • I’ve been a nurse since 2020, with experience in the NICU, a holistic health clinic, and women’s health. In addition to my work at Wellity, I am pursuing my Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner license at UNMC. Fun fact: I played softball at the Division 1 level, both as a coach and pitcher. When I’m not working or studying, I love spending time with my mini Aussies, my husband Jacob, and our son Jaxton!

  • I've been a nurse since 2019, working in different areas from NICU to Orthopedics, but my greatest passion has always been in women's health and wellness. Outside of Wellity, my husband Shane and I enjoy watching hockey and cuddling with our fat cat Finley on the weekends.

  • With over 10 years of experience in client services, I’m passionate about supporting women-owned businesses and helping women feel confident and empowered. My husband Dane and I do everything together, along with our Yorkie, Hudson. I’m excited to connect with you and support your wellness journey at Wellity!

Hear it from our patients

“I have been seeing Mary Jane for years and am always beyond pleased with her knowledge, compassion, and professionalism surrounding women’s health and wellness from the inside out. I am so grateful for a provider that is dedicated just as much to health prevention and awareness as they are to treatment. I leave every visit feeling heard and supported.”
